HOW ARE CERAMIC TILES PRODUCTED...
Ceramic tiles are the result of a craftsmanship process that takes 15 days to complete: after casting the mix in the moulds and the initial drying process, the item is smoothed down and then allowed to naturally dry for 24 hours.
This is followed by drying at 60°, to remove any internal moisture, and by subsequent baking at 1000°, for hardening the ceramic and increasing its heat irradiation properties.
The part is the hand painted and baked again at different temperatures, depending on its coloration.
